First, a word from this week’s sponsor
Sea Synergy is delighted to announce that bookings are now open for our Summer Sea Camps 2026 in Cahersiveen.
Designed for children who love adventure, wildlife, and the outdoors, our camps combine marine science, nature exploration, water activities, and hands-on learning in a fun and engaging environment. Campers will learn about local marine mammals and seabirds, explore rocky shore habitats, take part in science experiments, and develop confidence on and around the water. Book here
It’s The Signs of South Kerry 🎺🎺🎺
Is this the best one we’ve ever had? I think so. Where’s this sign?

Congratulations to last week’s winners

Well done both of you, for correctly identifying that yes, it was the third week on the trot we’ve had a sign from Derrynane. As a special bonus, I can also confirm that this weeks is not in Derrynane.

She’s rollercoasting.
Dear Reader
Happy Friday friends, another weekend ahead.
The weeks seem to be flying by. I notice how my weekends are filling up with concerts and trips, arranging dinner with friends, people arranging to visit as we live in summer holiday communities. This is all exciting and social and there is a part of me looking forward to it.
However, there is also a part of me dreading it. A part that is panicking that I won’t get any rest, that I’ll have no alone time. No time for overnight beach camping.
It’s funny, we give all winter waiting for summer. And all summer waiting for winter.
So always waiting for the next phase.
This is exhausting. So I’m going to press pause. And stand still, take some breaths to bring my head and heart back. Back to right now.
And I’m just going to be in today. Use today’s energy for today’s events. I don’t have tomorrow’s energy yet so I’ll not give it any until tomorrow.
So let’s all slow down, take a breath and live today, just today.
Stay steady friends, it’s a rollercoaster out there
Thanks Agnes.
