Dear Readers! 

Happy Friday to you all, even though most days feel like a Friday with the sun shining as it is! 

How goes it? There is a paradox that presents itself in these unusual Summer weeks. We want to be out and about, meeting and greeting, drinking and singing. 

Days at the beach, bbq in the evenings, and catching up with the gang who are only around for a few weeks. 

I don’t know about you, but I’m exhausted from it all! The expectation to be smoking, fun, in top form everyday, takes a lot out of a gal..,

How’s your social battery? Are you taking enough time for yourself? 

I’m officially giving permission to readers to say no to social engagements; you are still allowed to watch tv isle you fancy it of an evening.

Best Ice Cream in South Kerry

Was it too hot for ice-cream last weekend? We’ve had votes, but not as many as I’d have expected given our current Caribbean climate. With the votes we’ve had so far, a few points of note;

  • Current voting suggests this could well turn out to be a batlle of the Centra’s, so those of you who voted for Centra last week will probably want to specify which one.

  • Is there really no ice cream to be had between Sneem & Waterville? Really?

  • Murphy’s ice cream is from Dingle. Famously, not in South Kerry. It could be the finest ice cream you will find across the galaxy, but it will never be the best ice cream in South Kerry.

So, who has the best ice cream in South Kerry?

Also, to those winners waiting on trophies, they’ll be with you soon, ish, sooner than last week anyway.
