Issue 119. Have we found a new Ironman?
CHAMBERS, SHEAFS, CHAMPIONS, BOATS
Good Morning and Welcome,
To issue No.119. Is it that time already?
South Kerry by the numbers
Apparently there’s a big Euromillions tonight, with that in mind
First, a word from this week’s sponsor
Only two weekends of Beach Yoga at Derrynane left! 10.30am Fridays and Sundays until August 9th. Book yourself in for a fun, feelgood yoga class with the most relaxing relaxation in the world! The sound of waves in the background and the sensation of the sun’s warmth and the gentle ocean breeze is just gorgeous.
CMAF Celebrates Sheaf Slinging Supremo
Whilst no doubt you’ve seen much of the music & dancing from last weekends excellent Cahersiveen Music & Arts Festival, you may have missed the crowning of a true champion of Iveragh.

Whilst many of you may have been nursing the night before, Adrian Brennan was claiming his 14th consecutive Sheaf Throwing title, beating 28 men over five rounds.
This week the Oracle gained access to his executive management team, who revealed that the secret behind Adrian’s success is an unwavering appetite for farm labour & the inspirational mentorship of Frank O’Connell (after whom the trophy is named).
Statue anyone?
It’s The Signs of South Kerry 🎺🎺🎺
Contrary to what a lot of you thought last week, it wasn’t Coomaciste. It was of course, the Gaeltacht sign just beyond Lohar Church.
So. A nice easy one this week, where is it?

Congratulations to last week’s winners
MOS
Outstanding. Well done!
Auntie Agnes’ Angle

She’s enjoying the sun still. I think.
No doubt she’ll return when good and ready.
