Best Beach in South Kerry?

So, I like beaches almost as much as I like opinions. It’s been months since I asked for some of yours, so here we are. This time around I’d like you to add a category to your vote & suggest categories that I haven’t thought of. For example, I’m a huge fan of Loher beach, but there are better beaches for dog walks, like Reenroe, but is it Reenroe or Inny Strand? Or is the Inny Strand the other side of the estuary? Or is that Smugglers, or golf links beach? Do all of these pale in comparison to Derrynane? What about Ballinskelligs or Finians or Kells or White Strand?

Both of these dedicated sign spotters return to the winners enclosure this week, though there is a bit of a stewards enquiry as neither correctly identified it was a the sign for ‘dome dining’ at The Smugglers, Waterville.

Whirling Dervish of the wellbeing scene Dani, along with a merry band of yogis have banded together to bring the ReWild Studio in Cahersiveen to life. As she says herself;

The ReWild Studio was built to bring wellbeing, community and spirituality under one roof to the people of South Kerry. We hope our studio can become a home to the many experienced holistic facilitators we have in our area and a refuge to the wider South Kerry community.

Who doesn’t need a bit of refuge now and again? The studio is located opposite the launderette on Main St Cahersiveen, It officially launches next week and everything you need to know is here.

Tomorrow will likely be one of the biggest funerals South Kerry has seen, so if travelling through Waterville, give yourselves plenty of time and stay on the New Line Road; the old road will be a car park.
