Trees, Swims, Songs, Snails

Good Morning and Welcome,

To issue No.61. Firstly, congratulations to Cahersiveen/CNN’s Donie O’Sullivan for bringing home what has to be South Kerry’s first Emmy award (Is it?). South Kerry by the numbers:

  • 10.2: Mbps is the slowest broadband speed recorded in the survey so far

Choir, Saturday, be there.

Is it a bird? A plane? No, it’s a young woman on a skateboard

Meet Becky, she’s currently on day 21 of an epic trek to traverse the entire 2700km of the Wild Atlantic Way on a skateboard. Yes, a skateboard.

She’s taken on this trip to raise funds & awareness for mental health and will be arriving into South Kerry this week. So be sure to give her a mighty South Kerry welcome if you see her, you follow her exploits on her instagram & you can donate here.

Congratulations to last week’s winners
